“Gather” is another word for the church. Those who are transformed by Christ will live their lives in the community of Christ. In this gathering people will love one another, they will help equip one another for the work God has called us to do, and they will serve the greater community as a light to all people. This may take place, but is not limited to corporate worship, in small groups, in personal discipleship.

“Go” is the command we were given in the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20). In our heavenly future all things will be better, brighter and purer than they are right now. We can say this with confidence, because we will be in the presence of God. There is one thing we can do better on earth than in heaven. We can share the good news about Jesus with others. Christians are called to make disciples, to be witnesses of Christ so that others will come to know Jesus. That is our purpose (mission) here on earth to the glory of God.
