Classrooms and Facilities

LifeKids Classrooms

Our children’s programs are divided into three levels. Children in each classroom will enjoy time in prayer, play, and an age-appropriate lesson.

1. Nursery – Preschool Classroom: Ages 6 months through preschool

This is a large, divided classroom with a separate space for infants/pre-walkers and toddlers/preschoolers. This room includes a diaper changing station, as well as direct access to the women’s bathroom. This classroom is a shoe-free room. Please remove your child’s shoes at the door and place them in a cubby. Wall hooks are provided for coats and diaper bags. Snack are served in the class but allergens are monitored closely. All snacks are tree nut and peanut free, and often consist of fresh fruit.

Children in this room must be signed in and out on the attendance roster by a parent/guardian without exception. Older siblings may not drop off or retrieve a younger sibling from class. Children and parents are given matching nametags at sign-in and must be returned upon picking your child up from class. A numbered sticker system is available for visiting families without a nametag.

2. Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Classroom.

3. 3rd – 5th Grade Classroom.

Elementary age children in the K-2nd and 3rd-5th grade students will remain in the sanctuary with their families to worship in song until invited by the pastor to join their class. Attendance is taken in class by the teacher.

Health and Hygiene

To protect the health of the children that we serve, children will not be admitted to class with the following symptoms:
• Fever within the previous 24 hours
• Barking cough
• Vomiting within the previous 72 hours
• Skin infection or rash
• Diarrhea
• Chicken Pox
• Yellow or green nasal mucous
• Pink Eye (conjunctivitis)
• Head lice detection within the last week

If a child is being treated with antibiotics, they need to have completed a full 24 hours of medication before returning to class.

Thank you for your partnership in providing a safe, loving environment for our children to learn about Jesus. We look forward to growing in faith together with your family.

If your child is joining a Children & Family Ministry classroom for the first time, please make sure to register your child before class time begins. The child’s name, age, and allergy information along with the parent/guardian’s name and phone number are required to be completed on the registration form. All other information is voluntary.

All teachers and helpers participating in the Life Kids program have completed background checks for the safety of our children and staff.
